*Edit 03/10/10: I went to the zoo today for the first time in months, and realized that although there were three sumatran tigers on exibit, none of them were Rengat. A quick google search when I got home confirmed my suspicions: Rengat passed away on Aug 6th.*

The forth in a series, and I think the best so far. I just love the colours in this one. Incidentally the scanner really, really hates the glazing medium, which is why there are some areas of this that don't look quite. It's just so much better looking in real life.

Rengat again for those that were curious. I wanted this to be about the textures in his fur, and that's one of the reason's his eye is closed, so that is doesn't distract the viewer. I like that you get the impression that he is squinting in bright light.
