Ink on scratchboard
Original for sale!

Finally got to dig into some scratchboard again and it was great. Also got my hands on some the inks they make that supposedly are designed for scratchboard. They are quite vibrant and for the most part don't show up against the black, although they do change the 'finish' of the piece.

I love scratchboard.

An Angel's face is tricky to wear, constantly (Tori Amos Purple People)
The wing looks good. Not too sure about the back and top of the tail though. A bit more over-lapping of the feathers might look better. It looks too straight. :D
I hope you don't mind. I don't mean to be critical, more constructive hopefully.
I'm like it with all my own stuff, so it's not personal. :D

Scratchboard is a masonite board covered in a fine white clay, which is then sprayed with india ink. You scratch through the ink to reveal the white underneath.
